Orpheus and Eurydice

Edinburgh International Festival, August 2025
Supported by House of Oz
This is Orpheus and Eurydice like you’ve never seen before.
Journey to the underworld and back as heartbroken Orpheus has been granted the chance to bring his wife Eurydice back. There is one condition; he must not look at her – at all – on their long journey home.
Can he resist the temptation to look into the eyes of his true love?
This groundbreaking production explores the themes of true love, and the depths to which our inner beliefs are challenged.
This reimagined staging of Gluck’s tragédie lyrique opera makes its European premiere at the International Festival in August 2025.
